Hello everyone my name is Maria. Maria is a pseudonym I have decided to use for this course as I am more comfortable with using it online than my own personal name. I am a History-Teaching Option major with an Asia Studies Minor on the way. I enjoy playing video games on a casual basis but my true heart lies in reading and music. I signed up for this class not only to understand more about the video game industry from a different view point but to also learn the history behind games like Go and Chess. Even with my limited knowledge in the history of games I hope that I can contribute to our in class discussions as best as I can.
